The company from Trois-Rivières celebrates the sale of its 100th BeamMaster
AGT Robotics has reached an important milestone.
Trois-Rivières, le 1er novembre 2023
Trois-Rivières, November 1, 2023 – Specializing in the robotization of welding systems for metal fabrication, AGT Robotics has reached an important milestone in its development. The company from Trois-Rivières is proud to announce the sale of its 100th BeamMaster, a flagship product that has made its name worldwide.
The BeamMaster stands out with the Cortex software, entirely developed by AGT Robotics, which allows for the generation of an infinite number of robot programs without human intervention for unique parts or small batches. To date, this is the most advanced robotic welding auto-programming solution in the world. Constantly improving, the Cortex software has recently been equipped with a 3D camera system that reduces welding time by 30%.
“With its expertise, AGT Robotics continues its development on a global scale. Since its inception in 1992, the company has always distinguished itself through innovation and now positions itself as an international leader,” says AGT Robotics President, Éric Bélanger.
AGT Robotics’ solutions offer manufacturing companies the possibility to significantly increase their production despite constraints related to the labor shortage. The BeamMaster has allowed AGT Robotics to access markets such as the United States, Australia, Europe, Japan, and South America. “Today, we celebrate the sale of the 100th BeamMaster. It’s a pride we share with our entire team, without whom this would not be possible. This 100th sale is a testament to the market’s interest and need for our technology. The future is promising for us,” mentions Mr. Bélanger.
The AGT Robotics team celebrated this achievement with an open house day on November 1st. During the event, excellence awards were presented to AGT Robotics’ suppliers to thank them for their valuable collaboration.
A Team Committed to Youth
Furthermore, the AGT Robotics team has initiated a crowdfunding campaign to support the mission of Technoscience Mauricie, Centre-du-Québec an organization aimed at inspiring young people to immerse themselves in the world of science. During the open house event, AGT Robotics invited its partners, collaborators, and friends to make a donation via the GoFundMe platform.
“This is a mission that particularly touches us. In partnership with this organization, we regularly welcome young people to discover our universe and the possibilities science and technology offers. What Technoscience Mauricie, Centre-du-Québec does is very important. We want to show our support and commitment to their mission,” says Mr. Bélanger.
AGT Robotics has already confirmed its participation in the fundraising campaign. The total amount raised will be revealed later in November during a special activity organized by the organization. Those who wish to make a donation can do so by visiting this link: https://bitly.ws/YwB8
The donations collected will provide young people in the region with opportunities such as access to Génitrucs day camps for 10-15 year olds and technoscientific workshops for primary schools in disadvantaged areas.
