US Sales Manager

AGT is currently looking for a Sales Manager to support its growth and presence in the US market and development of its future US division. The position is open to independent contractors during a one-year period and could then be converted into a full-time position within the company. The full-time employee would head our US sales division and oversee the development of our network of sales representatives and sales agents.

The selected candidate will be responsible for :

  • Developing a customer base in targeted markets
  • Representing the company in its dealings with manufacturing customers
  • Strengthening relationships with current customers
  • Discussing & establishing sales strategies in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
  • Issuing quotes
  • Working in close collaboration with the Technical Quote Manager
  • Assisting with the planning and execution of company events (tradeshows, conferences, networking events, etc.)
  • Updating CRM and leveraging company tools to qualify leads and opportunities

Required Skills :

  • 10 years of sales experience
  • Technical knowledge of robotics and/or welding an asset
  • Knowledge of the industry an asset
  • Computer literacy


  • Demonstration of past business development achievements
  • Experience with sales greater than $200k per unit
  • Availability to travel across the US
  • Attention to needs expressed by customers and ability to relay them to HQ
  • Skill for giving oral presentations
  • Ability to meet targets within deadlines
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead a sales team
